Gestanin is a progestogen structurally related to progesterone that is used in threatened and habitual abortion, and to prevent premature labour. Currently, it is recommended to take Gestanin only in case of proven progesterone deficiency.

Before using:
Be aware that Gestanin may interact with some medicines. Consult with your health care provider in case you are taking any other drugs.

Directions
Take Gestanin as recommended by your doctor. One tablet should be taken three times daily and maximum up to 4 tablets a day until improvement.

Cautions
Before using Gestanin you should tell your doctor if you have cardiac or renal dysfunction, migraine, epilepsy, and asthma.

Possible side effects
You should consult with your doctor in case you have any of side effects especially bothersome listed below: gastrointestinal complaints like nausea, vomiting, epigastric discomfort.

If you take too much
In case of overdose suspicion, you should contact your local poison control center or emergency room right away. Symptoms of overdose are unusual drowsiness; rapid pulse; fainting; unusual muscle movement or rigidity of the face, neck, or limbs; seizures; and loss of consciousness.

Do not share this medicine with others persons. You should not use this medicine for the treatment of other health conditions.

Gestanin should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.
